Film + Creative Direction, Cinematography, Event Photography

1-800 HAPPY BIRTHDAY is a public art project by WORTHLESS STUDIOS that transforms phone booths into living memorials, inviting the public to leave birthday messages for people whose lives were cut short due to racial discrimination and police violence. Across three Bay Area activations in San Francisco and Oakland, the film documents the project’s arrival in the Bay and the communities who gathered around it to remember, celebrate, and connect.
